Knockhill time again, This is James's most un favoured circuit, and from Day 1 the British Superbike paddock is greeted with Rain.

James went out to get a feel of the circuit in the wet windy and cold conditions, he would finish up in 6th place on a 59:592, but was struggling with grip along with the rest of the competitors. 16 people fell down in this session.


Qualifying 1
James struggles at the start of the session with grip, and went the wrong way with the suspension settings. He came in, made some changes and re grouped to finish the session in 4th on a 58.455.

Qualifying 2
57.392 puts James 6th on the grid. But he had a fall early on in the session, he picked the bike up and carried on but unknowingly had gained an ankle injury.

After QP2 James has his leg checked out and it is confirmed that he had broke his fibula near his ankle.
Easty was unable to use the leg on race day so was forced to miss the Race.


James ' I am absolutly gutted, the wet just caught me out early on when I wasnt even on a hot lap. I fell victim like many others did over the weekend in all classes, but I will be back on pace at Snetterton where I'm hoping for some dry weather! and a win! '
