Thruxton and a favourite for Easty, although weather conditions rain on his parade on race day.

Free Practice
1:21:997 James gets off to a good start in 4th but knows straight away big suspension changes are needed to deal with The large rolling bumps around the circuit.

Qualifying 1
With a new set of tyres and a different set up James goes faster on a 1:20:966 to put him up to 3rd but the set up is still making it hard for James to get on the power.

Qualifying 2
1:19:655 James goes fastest and get's the Pole position lap early on with a new tyre. The set up is perfect in the dry conditions and all is set for the race.

Warm Up
1:20:582 james goes fastest again comfortably, confirming his consistant pace for the race.

Race
Between the Morning session and the end of the day when the superstock 600 race was run there was consistant rain, making the track drenched for the start.
James got a good innitial launch but was held out in turn one.
James pushed through battling for 2nd place but with the spray making it very difficult to see, he did not see the last lap flag so did not risk a last lap overtake he had been setting up. Easty finishes the race in fourth place, and moves to 2nd in the championship.

James " I was certain I could win the race in the dry but got a bad start and could not run the same pace in the wet. 4th isnt the result I wanted but is a good points haul and I'll look to improve in future rounds. "
