James gets a late entry in for some tracktime at the Sunday Round 2 Race Day of the first round of the Formula 600 Thundersport GB Event.

James's testing continued at the dry but cold Mallory Park circuit, competing in th Formula 600 Class.

This was a first for James, having not ridden at Mallory Park since 2008 and having never ridden at the friendly venue on the 600 machine at all it was a refreshing change to go back to the Leicestershire circuit where James had competed in his first ever road race.

James only rode on the sunday out of the two day sat/sun meeting so he had to get a feel for the circuit and bike in the morning warmup session setting a good initial pace.

Race 1 and James would start from 32nd position.
Carving through from the start Easty battled his way through to finally finish in 13th position in the 14 lap Race.

Race 2 and a shorter grid this time in the Non Championship Race, James still starts from last on the grid but 15th position.
After a lightning start Easty made his way through the field in the 10 lap Race to finally win by 7 seconds on a lap time of 56.4 receiving a winners trophy for his efforts.

Photo's will follow soon.
James would like to Thank his mechanic Stef Polard for attending the event and setting up the bike.
Next outing for East Racing will be on wednesday the 17th of march at the Kent Circuit of Brands Hatch for an MSV Test Day.
