Donington Park GP

Donington Park and again East Racing rolls up with little experience on the Midland GP Circuit, but with big confidence as always.
After never raced and only ever riden once at Donington Park on a 125, James would have his work cut out on track on the 600, as would the team with setup.

Free Practice 1
James completes the session having done 15 laps reading the circuit to finish in 22nd place on a ime of 1:40:765.

Qualifying 1
The Team make some adjustments with handlebar positioning and front end suspension settings to finish 14 laps on a time over a second quicker the practice, 1:39:623 puts him 20th Place.

Qualifying 2
After having trouble with rear end grip, some positive adjustment on the rebound in the rear shock helps to stop top out, James finds this a great deal easiar on the brakes but through the session he comes in to also soften the compresion on the rear aswell which makes it easiar to get the power to the ground, James goes 1.333 seconds faster to put him 12th on the grid on a 1:38:290

Race
James gets a good launch off the line but is hit going into turn one, narrowly saving a crash, he quickly gets on the case of passing riders on lap 1 to start the second lap in 16th place.
James carves through in a hectic race with bargeing and fallen riders to get up to 12th on lap 5 to lose the front end going into the foggy esses causing him to retire. Despite going down James banked a fastest lap of 1:37:960 on lap 4 some 3 tenths quicker than his qualifying time.

Good pace was shown and improvements were gained throughout the weekend and a strong setup was found to take on to the future events.
