James was on a good pace from the word go at the sunny Round 1 NG Road Race Meeting, taking big chunks out of his lap times with each session.
Unfortunatly in the 600 Open race, despite battling through from 18th to 8th the Crank seized on the new engine and forced James to retire from the meeting.
This is a big hit to the team with the lack of track time caused, but the bike will be rebuilt and ready for James to carry on his testing prior to the first round of the Metzler National Superstock 600 Championship at Brands Hatch in April.
